Principal's Page

I have had the pleasure of being the Middle School Principal here at Allegany-Limestone since 2002.  I am a graduate of Allegany Central School, Fredonia State, and St. Bonaventure University.  I previously taught Social Studies at Frewsburg Central School and completed a full-time administrative internship at Fredonia Central School through the Administrative Program at Fredonia State.

Allegany-Limestone Middle School is fortunate to have an extremely dedicated and professional faculty and staff.  Together we believe that the middle school years are the most important in the education and lives of our children.  In addition to the physical and emotional changes going on in their lives, they are facing increasing academic requirements from New York State.  We try our best here at ALMS to balance the two.  We are very proud of the academic achievement of our students, but more rewarding for us is watching them grow into responsible and contributing members of our community.

In addition to a strong academic program, ALMS offers a wide variety of extra-curricular activities: Math Counts, Odyssey of the Mind, Alfred State Regional Science Fair, St. Bonaventure University ROTC Martin Luther King Jr. Essay Contest, National Geography Bee, Thinking Cap Quiz Bowl, Lego League, History Club. Modified sports teams exist in football, soccer, volleyball, cross-country, swimming, wrestling, basketball, track and field, softball, and baseball.  The Students Activities Council plans many dances and activity nights throughout the year. Our annual 8th Grade Washington, DC Trip has been well attended for years.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions about our school!
